What this van has that most others do not, is a safe and comfortable second row seat. With the pull of a latch, this seat slides away from the driver's wall, and unfolds forward, extending between the two captains chairs, turning itself into a 37"w x 6' l bed. It is a unique feature that sets it apart from most other vans. Even if you don't need a second bed, having safe seating for 4 is a great option, and it makes for a nice sitting area when you need to be inside.

The cabinets and bed frame are all made from 80/20 brand extruded aluminum. Why the extra cost? The answer is two part. First, is the strength of aluminum and the quality of the 80/20 fasteners. There is a small earthquake happening every time you roll out of your driveway in a vehicle. Over time, this can work things loose. Screws, glue, and other fasteners used in typical wood cabinetry and construction do not generally have to stand up to the shaking that a vehicle can dole out. The aluminum frame can stand up to many years of bumping down the road, and it is seen in more and more high end and off road van builds. The second reason is simple - the weight savings. Pound for pound, aluminum is lighter and stronger than wood. The 10' long exterior Aluminess roof rack is also, obviously, aluminum.
