This van build is all about functionality and quality. I am a home builder, a metal worker, a cabinet maker, along with being a van builder. This Ford Transit represents my third complete van build-out. Having driven my other van builds down to the tip of Baja twice, up through B.C, Alberta, and throughout the American west, I know what it takes to be on the road.... For a long weekend, a month, or more.

I appreciate the importance of storage space, water supply, power needs, and and most importantly the quality of construction. As your van rolls down the road, as in any vehicle, there is a low grade earthquake happening, with every mile, and on every road. As you explore further from the highways, the roads most often get rougher. This is a good thing, and you need a build to hold up to the rigors of travel.

There are many systems in a high end travel van, and this can be intimidating for a new owner. With that in mind, I have kept everything as simple as possible so that you can spend more time planning your next adventure and less time figuring out how things work.

I have taken this van out on two road trips to test all of the systems. Now she is ready for her new home.
